Episode 103 - Champagne Cocktails (Part 1)
Champagne is probably the most chick-friendly drink out there, so in this episode Druu and delicious co-host Kristin Viada throw down four Champagne-based cocktail recipes to help you keep the honeys happy. There are two variations of the Champagne Martini, the classic Mimosa (which is better than that brunch drink your mom drank on Sunday) and the Flirtini, popularized by 'Sex in the City'. Ohhhhh yeahhhhh...

(Uhh...sorry. We were just daydreaming about Sarah Jessica Parker...naked...again.)

Champagne Martini #1

1 shot Cointreau
2 shots Champagne

Pour 1 shot of Cointreau into a cocktail glass (also known as a martini glass). Then fill with chilled Champagne. The cocktail will end up being approximately 1 part Cointreau and 2 parts Champagne.

Champagne Martini #2

1 shot Vodka
2 shots Champagne

Pour 1 shot of Vodka into a cocktail glass (also known as a martini glass). Then fill with chilled Champagne. The cocktail will end up being approximately 1 part Vodka and 2 parts Champagne.

Mimosa

1/3 shot (1/2 oz.) Cointreau
2/3 shot (1 oz.) Orange Juice
Champagne

Pour Cointreau, then orange juice, into a Champagne flute. Fill with Champagne.

Flirtini

1/3 shot (1/2 oz.) Cointreau
1/3 shot (1/2 oz.) Vodka
2/3 shot (1 oz.) Pineapple Juice
Champagne

Pour Cointreau, Vodka and pineapple juice into a shaker filled with ice. Shake it, then strain the mixture into a cocktail glass and fill with chilled Champagne. (Important---Do not pour the Champagne into the shaker with the rest of the ingredients and shake it up. It will blow up on you, you'll look like an idiot and your date will NOT get naked. Repeat, she will NOT get naked.)
